TUESDAY—THURSDAY, JULY 27 TO 29—VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
Our Vacation Bible school will be on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, July 27th to July 29th from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. We will have our VBS in the evening again this year with the theme being “Saddle Ridge” where kids will be riding the range and roundin up questions like: “What is God’s plan for me?” and “How can I be like Jesus?” At the end of the day they’ll discover that God’s Word has all the answers. We will be inviting their families to join us for our Sunday morning worship service.

Kathy will be our VBS Director again this year. Please let Kathy know if you can help this year!

"What commandment is the foremost of all?"

 Jesus answered, "The foremost is, 'HEAR, O ISRAEL! THE LORD OUR GOD IS ONE LORD;

 AND YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND, AND WITH ALL YOUR STRENGTH.'

 "The second is this, 'YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.' There is no other commandment greater than these."

Mark 12: 28-31

  “Prayer moves the hand of God.” If you you have a prayer concern, please e-mail us your prayer request and we will be sure to lift your need to the Lord. Go to our "contact us" page and leave your prayer request there. We are here to serve you.

 What is the mission of First Baptist Church of West Richland?

And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Matt. 28:18-20

In those times when the going gets tough and you're not really sure what's happening in your life, fall back on the things that you are sure of. Remember the promises that God has revealed in His Word such as:

God Loves you, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. (John 3:16)

God is with you,"Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, a virgin will be with child and bear a son, and she will call His name Immanuel (translated means God with us).  (Isaiah 7:14)

God is for you, What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us? (Romans 8:31)

God is in control of your life, The earth is the LORD'S, and all it contains,
The world, and those who dwell in it.  (Psalm 24:1)

God is causing all things to work together for good in your life, And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.  (Romans 8:28)
